Product Description

The SEYDEL SAMPLER Harmonica is a real must have for the ambitious melody-player: One instrument in two keys and three full octaves available.

The SAMPLER is the ideal instrument for playing popular melodies, Folk-music and Irish Folk and a real new challenge for all lovers of the "Chromatic Blues Sound"! The slider switches between two keys (C and G).

- solo-tuning in the keys of C and G

- three full octaves in two keys*, conveniently switchable with the slider or lockable

- half-valving, some important bending notes (Bending: technique for lowering the notes)

A comprehensive Online-tutorial for the SAMPLER explains the instrument's features in detail. You can download the free pdf-version for printout. The online-version for the tutorial contains a large variety of sound examples and playbacks that show the new playing features available on the new SAMPLER harmonica.

* Pressing the slider does not give the semi-note of the chromatic scale like on chromatic harmonicas. The slider does lower the notes for a perfect forth. Therefore the instrument can be played in two different keys but the chromatic scale is not available (without playing bending notes). The SAMPLER is not a tremolo harmonica.

Excellent customer service! My recent purchase required a couple of alterations in details and they were very responsive about it. Despite the changes in the order, the item actually arrived earlier than expected!

Seydel Session Steel Natural Minor

The Seydel Session Steel natural minor tuning harmonica is the upgrade to Seydel's successful Session model, and it comes presented with a bold new look and superior technical reliability, excellent playability and a fantastic sound. This is a blues harmonica with corrosion-free stainless steel reeds, ergonomic covers and plastic comb. Seydel's stainless steel reeds provide a bright and powerful sound, and also allow easy bending of notes. Their main advantage, though, is durability - some players have found that the lifespan of these reeds can be up to 5 times that of harps with traditional brass reeds. This is particularly relevant if you're a powerful player who likes to perform frequent overblows. As with all Seydels, air tightness is high, and the cover plate design ensures that the Seydel Session Steel Natural Minor harmonica is friendly to both lips and beards (not something you can say about all harmonicas!). Build quality is also exceptionally high - a legacy both of Seydel's long history and its investment in new technology in the last decade or so. This is the natural minor tuned Session Steel, however you can also get it in Paddy Richter, PowerDraw, PowerBender, Melodic Maker, Circular/Melody King, Country and Harmonica Minor. If you would like any of the other tunings please contact us. We also offer custom tuning such as equal temperament on special order. Hohner Rocket 5 Pack

- C, G, A, D and Bb Hohner Rocket 5 Pack - C, G, A, D and Bb - Rock is many things – quiet is not one of them. For a harmonica to not be lost between squealing guitars and heavy drums, it has to be loud too. Which is why rock harpist Jimmie Bones relies on the power of the HOHNER Rocket. No other harmonica is this loud, while being this comfortable at the same time. Get ready to be blasted through rock, pop, jazz, and country with this incredibly powerful harp for advanced players. In terms of sound and feel, the Rocket is akin to a louder Special 20, with which it shares many of its features, such as the ABS comb and recessed reed plates. In fact, many players who prefer to the now discontinued Marine Band Series Special 20, prefer the Rocket and the Rocket Amp to the Progressive Series Special 20. This 5 pack of Rocket harmonicas includes the most popular keys and represents a significant discount over buying them individually. It also comes with a neoprene soft case that can carry up to 7 harmonicas. Optimized cover plates and larger channel openings Wide open cover plates with side vents and larger channel openings are specifically designed to generate a loud, powerful sound. Comfortable comb design The first serial production harmonica with rounded comb sides, edges, and corners for maximum comfort.
