Product Description

Blues Harmonica with corrosion-free stainless steel reeds, ergonomic covers and plastic comb.

The Melodic Maker tuning is the combination of Country and Paddy Richter tunings; compared to the Richter tuning the notes in channels 5 and 9 are raised for a semi-tone.In addition, the blow note in channel three is tuned two semi-tones higher. Many melodies normally only playable using bends or overblows become easily playable with the Melodic Maker tuning.Since the Melodic Maker is played mainly in 2nd postion the key label refers to the note in 2 draw!

The SESSION STEEL model is presented with a bold new look and superior technical reliability, excellent playability and a fantastic sound.

12 Keys available

The Easttop Brendan Power Lucky 13 harmonica has it all: the standard range you're used to plus that Big Bottom, right there in your hands! Once you get used to a 4-octave Bass Blues Harmonica it is very hard to go back to the restricted range of a 10-hole harp ever again. It's two harps for the price of one: normal and low range, without having to buy/store both or switch harps in a tune. Here are the main features of the Easttop Brendan Power Lucky 13: World's first 13-hole harp, Patent Pending. Exactly 4 octave range in Richter tuning, with lower octave tagged on to normal 10-hole range. The same 7.5mm hole spacing as a normal 10-hole harp! That means it's easy to adapt to. Comfortable curved top cover, bottom cover raised at the bass end so the draw reeds never rattle. Holes in the coverplate ends, for extra volume. Solid comb, flat-sanded. Durable phosphor-bronze reeds. Thick chromed reedplates, secured with 11 screws for uniform airtightness. Clear visual numbering on top cover relates to the 10-hole diatonic, to make sure you never lose your place. Available in all 12 keys Key indicators on front and ends of the comb, for those who like to stack harps vertically. Perfect for low chord rhythm or melody lines, and extended octave playing. Possible to re-tune the lower 3 holes to create new chords or extended alt tunings.   Lucky 13 Demonstration Video:    ... Read more

Hohner Blues Harp MS

£35.99

12 Keys available

The brand name ”Blues Harp® “ has attained cult status in the contemporary music scene. The Hohner Blues Harp MS model features a functional design combining a wooden comb, high covers without side vents and high quality reed plates to give the instrument its typical bluesy sound, which has made it immensely popular with beginning and intermediate players alike. Every now and again, a branded article achieves such a high degree of success and widespread distribution that the brand name becomes synonymous with the generic product. This has certainly been the case with the Hohner Blues Harp®, now well into its fifth decade as one of Hohner‘s most popular diatonic model. Part of the MS range of modular harmonicas, the Blues Harp shares some of its features, such as the reed plates, with the Pro Harp and Big River, with which all of its parts are interchangeable. The major difference between the Blues Harp and its MS siblings is the doussie wood comb, which provides a slightly warmer sound than the ABS comb on the Pro Harp and Big River, or the alloy comb on the Meisterklasse MS. Tuning is slightly closer to equal temperament than on the Special 20 or Marine Band models, making this the ideal harmonica for playing single note runs. Reeds: 20. Reed Plate: Brass, 0.9mm. Keys: C Major, Db Major, D Major, Eb Major, E Major, F Major, F# Major, G Major, Ab Major, A Major, Bb Major, B Major. Comb: Wood. Series: Modular System. Plastic snap box. ... Read more

Suzuki Promaster Valved Harmonica

£49.99

13 Keys available

The Suzuki Promaster Valved harmonica is the valved version of the popular MR-350 diatonic harp from the Japanese company. It uses the same polished stainless steel reed covers and satin finish anodised aluminium comb as the standard Promaster, and is similarly comfortable and responsive to play. Where it differs from the MR-350 is in its use of an innovative valve system, which enables bending in the blow as well as the draw cycles. This opens up a whole new world of playing, as the range of notes available is closer to that of a chromatic harmonica than a standard diatonic. The aluminium comb provides the Promaster Valved with exceptional resistance to warping and excellent responsiveness.  Phosphor bronze reed plates, which feature on most Japanese made Suzuki harmonicas, produce the clarity and richness of tone you'd expect from an instrument at this level, whilst also offering class-leading durability. Suzuki is renowned for its attention to detail and the Promaster valved is no exception. Manufacturing tolerances are extremely fine, resulting in a harp with exceptional airtightness and projection. Few harmonicas in this price bracket can compete with the Promaster Valved when it comes to volume! Yet, at the same time, it responds very well to subtle playing dynamics. Like the standard model, the Promaster Valved comes with a custom designed, soft lined hard case, which will help to ensure that your harp remains in perfect condition when it's not being used. The Promaster Valved is available in the 12 standard major keys, plus high G and Low F. Warning: It has come to our attention that counterfeit Suzuki Harmonicas are being offered for sale through overseas sellers. Please do not fall victim to these illegal sellers of Suzuki Harmonicas. All our Suzuki range have been purchased directly from the official Suzuki distributors. ... Read more
