About Hohner
Hohner is one of the world's oldest and most famous harmonica manufacturers and has been producing harmonicas, accordions and other related instruments in Germany since the middle of the 19th century.
Many of the key innovations in the history of the harmonica can be attributed to Hohner, including the production of the world's first chromatic harmonica and the creation of the most widely imitated harmonica of all time - the Special 20.
Today Hohner still produces the bulk of its range in Germany, and covers a wide variety of harmonica types and styles, from simple 10 hole diatonics, through to high end chromatics. It is and has been, the manufacturer of choice for many of the world's most famous harmonica players, including Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan and Sonny Terry.
