Product Description

The Hohner Pro Harp MS has "Greblon" coated covers in matte black, which gives this model an unmistakable appearance. The black -coated covers and brass reed plates look fantastic and give the Pro Harp MS a powerful sound, which is popular with rock music harp players. The Pro Harp features an ABS comb that allows rapid movement across the holes and swell-free durability. A good alternative to the Special 20, for harmonica players looking for an easy to play harp that will last well.

Tuning of this harp, like other MS models, is slightly closer to equal temperament than many of Hohner's other harmonicas, making it particularly suited to playing single note melodies.

The Pro Harp is part of Hohner's MS range, which offers modular cross compatibility of all of the individual harps' components. So, it is possible, for example, to build a harmonica with the black cover plates from the Pro Harp, the nickel coated reed plates from the Meisterklasse and the wood comb from the Blues Harp. A wide range of alternate tunings, such as natural and harmonic minors, are also available aftermarket by swapping the reed plates.

Excellent customer service! My recent purchase required a couple of alterations in details and they were very responsive about it. Despite the changes in the order, the item actually arrived earlier than expected!

Suzuki Bluesmaster Harmonica

£27.99

12 Keys available

The Suzuki Bluesmaster is a professional level 10 hole diatonic harmonica with a plastic comb and stainless steel covers. In common with most other Japanese made Suzuki harmonicas, the Bluesmaster features phosphor bronze reeds, which provide outstanding projection and durability. The stainless steel covers are designed with durability and ergonomics in mind, making the Bluesmaster an instrument that is a joy to hold and one that will outlast many lesser harmonicas. Construction-wise, and in pricing as well, the Bluesmaster is comparable to the Hohner Special 20, and like its competitor it features non vented covers and recessed reed plates. Tonally, it produces a slightly warmer sound than the Hohner. Its responsiveness, particularly to bending, is very similar. Volume levels of the two harps are also very similar. Like all Suzuki harps, the manufacturing tolerances are very high, resulting in superb airtightness. This enables the Bluesmaster to respond well to dynamics within your playing and makes precise bending a much easier task. Reed and cover plate alignment are also excellent, making this a great harmonica for beginners as well as more experienced players. The ABS plastic comb offers swell-free performance, making the Bluesmaster an easy harmonica to live with, especially for gigging musicians who need a harp that delivers great tone, but who don't want the fuss of managing moisture levels on multiple harmonicas. The Bluesmaster is available in the 12 standard major keys. A boxed set, which includes the 6 most popular keys, and which offers a discount over buying these keys individually, is available here. This set comes with a foam-lined case that holds the harmonicas in position, allowing easy access to them. Warning: It has come to our attention that counterfeit Suzuki Harmonicas are being offered for sale through overseas sellers. Please do not fall victim to these illegal sellers of Suzuki Harmonicas. All our Suzuki range have been purchased directly from the official Suzuki distributors. ... Read more

£145.99
Hohner Special 20 5 Pack - G, A, C, D and E - This 5 pack of Special 20s gives you the most popular keys, plus a convenient zip up case for significantly less expense than purchasing the five keys individually. About the Special 20 A unique, beautifully mellow sound, based on a revolutionary concept: the Special 20 was the first diatonic harmonica in the world with reed plates recessed into the comb, creating a projecting plastic mouthpiece. This makes it more comfortable to play, and the most copied harmonica design worldwide. Its distinctive sound is perfect for everything from Folk and Country to Rock and Pop. The Special 20 offers everything a professional harpist needs, but it’s also the ideal beginner’s instrument thanks to its smooth playability and comparatively affordable price. If you’re not just looking for a companion for the first few steps, but one to take you all the way, the Special 20 is your best possible bet. Special 20s, like all of Hohner's Progressive Series harmonicas, is made in Trossingen, Germany, where Hohner has been producing harmonicas since the 19th Century. As the world's largest harmonica manufacturer, Hohner is able to combine state of the art manufacturing facilities with traditional craftsmanship, ensuring that their instruments are of the highest quality at any given price point.  ...
