Product Description

Lee Oskar Major Diatonic harmonicas are part of the Lee Oskar range of modular blues harps, made by Tombo in Japan to Lee's specifications.

The Major Diatonic is the most popular tuning in the range, as it follows the traditional Richter note layout, familiar to all ten hole harmonica players. If you want to play traditional blues tunes in first or second position, this is the harmonica you need. It will also work well for folk, pop and country, although players who wish to use minor keys, or are interested in playing country or Eastern tunes, should check out Lee Oskar's Melody Maker, Natural Minor and Harmonic Minor harps, which share the same basic architecture as the Major Diatonic, but feature different tunings.

Lee Oskar harps are renowned for their dark, raspy tone, and the ease with which they can be maintained, making them ideal for beginners and experts alike. The traditional brass reeds are responsive, and the ABS comb is comfortable to use and offers excellent swell resistance. The bolted together construction facilitates cleaning and maintenance, and replacement reeds plates are available in all tunings at significantly less than the price of a new harmonica.

All over the world, professional players use Lee Oskar Harps as their first choice harmonica.

Excellent customer service! My recent purchase required a couple of alterations in details and they were very responsive about it. Despite the changes in the order, the item actually arrived earlier than expected!

- C, G, A, D and Bb Hohner Rocket 5 Pack - C, G, A, D and Bb - Rock is many things – quiet is not one of them. For a harmonica to not be lost between squealing guitars and heavy drums, it has to be loud too. Which is why rock harpist Jimmie Bones relies on the power of the HOHNER Rocket. No other harmonica is this loud, while being this comfortable at the same time. Get ready to be blasted through rock, pop, jazz, and country with this incredibly powerful harp for advanced players. In terms of sound and feel, the Rocket is akin to a louder Special 20, with which it shares many of its features, such as the ABS comb and recessed reed plates. In fact, many players who prefer to the now discontinued Marine Band Series Special 20, prefer the Rocket and the Rocket Amp to the Progressive Series Special 20. This 5 pack of Rocket harmonicas includes the most popular keys and represents a significant discount over buying them individually. It also comes with a neoprene soft case that can carry up to 7 harmonicas. Optimized cover plates and larger channel openings Wide open cover plates with side vents and larger channel openings are specifically designed to generate a loud, powerful sound.
