Great harmonica for the price – very responsive and I’ve had no problems with swelling. Although this doesn’t have the stainless steel reeds of the more expensive Seydels, I find that this harmonica still lasts longer than equivalents from other manufacturers.

Been using these for about two years now. Have about eight in total (all different keys). The sound is just what i need and so far none have failed on me. What else can I say? Great harps!

Recently bought one of these. Clearly very precision build quality. Took a little while to bed in nicely, but now sounds great. Will probably buy a few more keys when the need arises.

I must compare this harmonica to the Marine Band 1896 and Deluxe. The Harmonica Company sells the 1896 for £30.99 and the Deluxe for £45.99, but the Solist Pro for £31.99. The SP is the same price as an 1896 but the same quality as a Deluxe. You can’t beat a harmonica with stainless steel coverplates, a fully lacquered wood comb, and brass reeds. In my opinion, this is the best on the market, certainly for the price. It’s basically a Marine Band Deluxe for 33% less.
Buy one.

My experience with this harp would say it’s not for beginners. I’ve been playing for a few months I have about 15 harmonica of different keys and brands. This one had holes that don’t give a note so I’ve had to learn about gapping which is good experience but risky for a beginner. I’ve opened almost all my harps to clean or tweak but with this harp it’s really not been very friendly at all. Love the wood and the feel of it. Love the harmonica company for service. I don’t want to give this harp a bad review as I’m guessing experienced players & tweaker would adjust it and get good out of it. I suppose my review is a warning to beginner or advanced beginner only buy if you can spare the cash. I’d say my experience of this harp is equal to Lee Oskar. Special 20 is spot on for beginner in many different ways. Maybe my veiw of this harp might change in time to come. I’ll make this my tweaking harp.
