    Just got one recently. Must say that it is indeed heavier than my Bluesmaster by 20+ gms. No big issue.
    Most noticeable that Bluesmaster is much louder and easier to blow into. Perhaps the holes are much larger.
    Overall the Hammond has a solid feel and much slimmer. Been new of course it needs time to beak in. Perhaps the sound should improve over time.
    It is still a good investment.

      The comb is the main source of the additional weight, but it does make the harp feel more durable.
