Excellent customer service! My recent purchase required a couple of alterations in details and they were very responsive about it. Despite the changes in the order, the item actually arrived earlier than expected!

Hohner CX12 Jazz Harmonica

£239.99
At first glance, the striking red-to-gold opalescent finish of the CX12 Jazz is hard to overlook. However, there’s more to this baby than meets the eye. Based on the brilliant and successful design of the CX12 Black, the CX12 Jazz boasts a narrower mouthpiece radius, which makes it even more comfortable to play and facilitates single reed note bending for greater expression, allowing you to break with chromatic convention and redefine your creative possibilities. If you want a loud, responsive chromatic that offers you killer tone and maximum punch, it doesn’t get much better than this! Reed plates (material, thickness): brass, 1.05 mm Reed plates (surface): brass Reeds (number, material): 48, brass Comb (material, color): ABS, black Comb (finish): ABS, matt Mouthpiece (surface): ABS, red to gold lacquered Cover plates: ABS, red to gold lacquered Slide construction: zigzag Keys: C Type: chromatic Tuning: solo tuning Number of holes: 12 Tonal range: 3 octaves, C4 – D7 Length: 16.8 cm / 6.6" About Hohner Hohner is one of the world's leading harmonica manufacturers and has been producing harmonicas in Germany since the middle of the 19th century. Pinegrove 12 Hole Harmonica Pouch (Chromatic)

Pinegrove 12 Hole Harmonica Pouch (Chromatic)

£34.99

Out of stock

Pinegrove 12 Hole Harmonica Pouch (Chromatic) This all-leather case holds a larger harmonica up to 7 inches (18cm) in length, including the harmonica's button. The pouch automatically expands to the width of your harmonica. The cover fastens with a high-quality snap fastener. (The metal back of the snap does not touch your harmonica.) A small pocket under the flap can be used to hold an address card. (This pocket also prevents the metal back of the snap from touching your harmonica.) Round the back is a belt loop system which allows the harmonica pouch to be carried horizontally or vertically. The strap design allows the pouch to be quickly detached from your belt, but it cannot be pulled off by another person. Multiple pouches can be attached to your belt if required. Note that harmonicas in pictures are just for demonstration. Contact us if you have a big-bodied Hohner CX12. Specifications: Item size: Approx 220x90x30mm when loaded (8.5x3.5x1.25 inches). Item weight: Approx 150g (6oz) All Pinegrove goods are hand crafted in the UK using only the finest materials. Leather… it's an amazing material. The proper stuff anyway. We're not talking about camel skins dried under a hot sun and then drenched in sunflower oil. Real, good, proper leather, tanned using the old traditional European methods, goes through over 20 stages to make it tough, flexible and long-lasting. The actual tanning stage is done with vegetable extracts and tree bark which contains the natural substance tannin. Steeping the leather this way takes months, sometimes years. In the 1840s, tanning was updated using chromium salts. Not only is this a faster and cheaper process, it also makes a more waterproof leather that's often tougher too. Most leather goods are made from this. We mostly use the leather tanned using the old natural "veg tan" method. To us, it usually has a superior feel and smell to the "chrome tan". To be honest, most people can't tell the difference. And we do use that too if it's very good and has a natural finish. We've come across some irresistible chrome tan in our time, either because of its feel or an unusual applied effect, such as a crocodile pattern embossed on cowhide. Most of  our leather originates from cattle raised for its beef. Some pigskin occasionally. We don't use anything from a wild animal, or where the animal was killed just for its hide. As for ensuring quality, Pinegrove's main man Rod Boyes personally hand-picks every single hide. We buy from specialist leather suppliers in Yorkshire, Northampton and London, who source from tanneries across Europe and even the US. We only buy the best, as natural as possible. A lot of leather goods in fashion stores are hardly made from leather at all. This leather is made from ground up bits mixed with glue and spray-painted several times to look the part. We don't use this stuff!... Read more
