Product Description

The Seydel Session Steel harmonic minor tuning harmonica is the upgrade to Seydel's successful Session model, and it comes presented with a bold new look and superior technical reliability, excellent playability and a fantastic sound. This is a blues harmonica with corrosion-free stainless steel reeds, ergonomic covers and plastic comb.

Seydel's stainless steel reeds provide a bright and powerful sound, and also allow easy bending of notes. Their main advantage, though, is durability - some players have found that the lifespan of these reeds can be up to 5 times that of harps with traditional brass reeds. This is particularly relevant if you're a powerful player who likes to perform frequent overblows.

As with all Seydels, air tightness is high, and the cover plate design ensures that the Seydel Session Steel Harmonic Minor harmonica is friendly to both lips and beards (not something you can say about all harmonicas!). Build quality is also exceptionally high - a legacy both of Seydel's long history and its investment in new technology in the last decade or so.

This is the harmonic minor tuned Session Steel, however you can also get it in Paddy Richter, PowerDraw, PowerBender, Melodic Maker, Circular/Melody King, Country and Natural Minor. If you would like any of the other tunings please contact us. We also offer custom tuning such as equal temperament on special order.

The Suzuki Manji combines advanced technology and functional beauty to create a stunning 10 hole diatonic harmonica. This revolutionary Suzuki diatonic harp is named after Mr. Manji Suzuki, the company's founder — now in his late 80's, however still pretty much in charge. He started with a single hand-built model nearly 70 years ago, and has built Suzuki up into one of the world's premier harmonica manufacturers. Number of holes: 10 Cover plates: Stainless steel Reed plates:  Phosphor Bronze, 20 reeds Comb: Resin Wood Composite Keys: C/G/A (3 piece set) Made in Japan About Suzuki Suzuki is one of the world's leading harmonica manufacturers, and has been producing harmonicas and related instruments in Japan since 1963. Its signature feature is phosphor bronze reeds, which provide a distinctive sound and outlast traditional brass reeds. In common with other harmonicas made in Japan, such as those manufactured by Tombo, Suzukis tend to be tuned to equal temperament, rather than the compromised tuning more commonly found on German made Hohners and Seydels. This makes them ideally suited for playing melody lines, although chords are also possible. Suzuki Promaster Harmonica

14 Keys available

24The Suzuki Promaster harmonica (MR350) is one of our most popular upper end diatonics, and is part of the professional range by Suzuki Music. It features ergonomically designed, polished stainless steel reed covers, which provide supreme playing comfort. The comb is precision milled from billet aluminium, then given a satin anodised finish for durability and ease of playing. This provides it with a similar tone to other harmonicas which feature the same comb construction, such as the Seydel Noble, plus outstanding resistance to warping and temperature and humidity related swelling, which can afflict many wooden combs.  Phosphor bronze reed plates, which are a signature of most Japanese-made Suzuki harps, produce the rich tones and clarity so sought after by professional players, and also offer great durability and lifespan. As you'd expect from a Suzuki, airtightness is first class, and the attention to detail in its construction is class-leading. Harpists who try a ProMaster often find that it rapidly becomes their 'go-to' instrument for all styles of music, such is its ease of playing and responsiveness. All ProMasters come with a hard shell, soft lined case to keep your harp in optimum condition. If you want an all round harmonica that can fit with most styles of music, has a great tone and will require minimal maintenance then the ProMaster is definitely one to try! The Suzuki ProMaster is available in all of the 12 standard major keys, plus low F and high G. A valved version of the ProMaster, which enables bending on the blow cycle as well as the draw is also available here.   Warning: It has come to our attention that counterfeit Suzuki Harmonicas are being offered for sale through overseas sellers.
